The Davidson Institute of Science Education at the Weizmann Institute of Science
The Davidson Institute of Science Education is located inside the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot and is divided into two campuses. The southern campus includes the Davidson Laboratory, the Barvaz Auditorium, and the administration building. The northern campus spans the Clore Garden of Science, the Laub International Science Youth Village, and the Shoham Science for All Unit.
Arriving by train: Take any train stopping at the Rehovot (E. Hadar) Station.
- To get to the northern campus (on foot): Exit the train station’s southern gate and ascend the road leading up to Herzl Street. Walk south along Herzl Street until you reach the Weizmann Institute’s Bloch Gate, opposite the Faculty of Agriculture. From there, a 20-minute walk to the east inside the Institute will lead you to the northern campus.
- To get to the southern campus (by bus): Exit the train station’s northern gate and take the Egged bus line number 12 until you reach the Davidson gate (“President's Estate” station). The bus runs every 20 minutes and travels in both directions.
Arriving by car: Using Waze or Google Maps:
- Northern campus: Enter “Science Garden Parking Lot.”
- Southern campus: Enter “Davidson Institute of Science Education – Rehovot”
