Prism for Middle School
Focus on one scientific discipline or combine activities from two different ones, experiment in labs, and take tours around the Weizmann Institute
The Davidson Institute for Science Education is proud to introduce the new curriculum for science classroom activities – Prism. Each Prism has its own set of unique aspects. All you have to do is choose which one is right for you.
Are you a middle school science teacher? Well, you've come to the right place: The Davidson Institute of Science Education has created three diverse and rich prisms perfect for your students. By pursuing their activities, you and your students can experiment with special materials and work with advanced equipment.
The activities are facilitated by the Davidson Institute's scientific-pedagogical team, assisted by graduate students from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
The middle school prism spectrum includes:
- Orange Prism – a journey between disciplines: Lab activities that combine two different scientific disciplines.
- Green Prism – learning in the lab and around the Science Park: A combination of laboratory activities and outdoor extracurricular activities held throughout the Weizmann Institute of Science.
- Blue Prism – delving into science: Lab activities focusing on only one scientific discipline.
