This activity introduces the children to the five senses – taste, smell, hearing, vision, and touch; and teaches them about sensory receptors and about how we absorb stimulation from the world around us.
As part of the activities, the children will take a guided, interactive tour of the Science Park and operate the exhibits so as to become familiar with their senses. They will also take part in a fun-filled demonstration that challenges the senses.
In addition, the children will learn how to make (and taste!) scientific ice cream using liquid nitrogen.
All activities are facilitated by Science Garden instructors.
