The Idea Incubator The Innovation Center is the Davidson Institute’s hub for entrepreneurship, promoting strategic change in science education on the local, national and international levels. |
This center designs and develops innovative and exciting science educational programs and initiatives that reflect 21st century interdisciplinary science.
As a focal point of discovery and entrepreneurship, the Center for Innovation in Science Education identifies and develops groundbreaking scientific and pedagogical know-how within existing Davidson Institute programs and facilitates collaboration across a wide range of disciplines.
A research, development, and integration hub for advancement in science education, the Center’s distinguished team finds promising, creative initiatives underway at the Davidson Institute, the Weizmann Institute, or outside opportunities, offers guidance in nurturing, pitching, and assessing the sustainability of these ideas, and fosters deeper partnerships between Weizmann scientists, Davidson personnel, and beyond. It is also involved in launching entirely new and innovative initiatives.
The head of this center is Dr. Yossi Elran. Below are some projects in development.
