Yarden Ben Horin
Position: Head of Students Unit
Yarden received his M.Sc. degree in analytical chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Eli Grushka, at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and graduated Magna Cum Laude. The topic of his M.Sc. thesis involved computational optimization of HPLC separations of dideoxynucleotides.
He developed the series “BeMabat Hadash” and is one of its authors: a series of textbooks on scientific thinking for 1st-6th grade students for Ramot Ltd., Tel-Aviv University.
Yarden has also developed and taught a course on computer applications for chemistry teaching at the Department of Education of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He taught high school chemistry at the Israel Arts and Science Academy in Jerusalem of the Society for Excellence Through Education in Jerusalem and in Denmark High School in Jerusalem. In addition, he was an instructor in after school activities for gifted children of the Society for Excellence through Education.
In his past, Yarden directed and developed multimedia projects for hi-tech companies for Cli-connect Multimedia Systems Ltd.
