The Environment and Us

What is an ecosphere? What natural resources are there in our environment? And what can you do with them? Visit the Science Park to discover our environment, its resources and how to preserve them

This activity introduces the children to natural resources, how we use them, and why it is so important to protect the environment – all through a guided interactive tour of the Science Park and its exhibits.

The children learn about the ecosphere and a controlled-environment ecosystem, while they encounter diverse plants and organisms, and discover their unique characteristics.

In addition, the children will build a small metrological station that includes an anemometer and an electronic rain gauge.

All activities are facilitated by Science Park instructors.

 

Audience:

For the 3rd-5th grades, and for teachers who want their class to experience and learn about science in a fun-filled way that exposes them to various phenomena in the field, all in line with the school curriculum.
