Experiential activity for the 5th and 6th grades

This activity introduces the children to energy conversions as part of a guided interactive tour of the Science Park exhibits, and various scientific demonstrations.

The children will also participate in a hands-on workshop that focuses on materials and electrical energy, and get to find out whether dough conducts electricity. They can take the final product home with them to continue exploring and playing.

All activities are facilitated by Science Park instructors.

 

Audience:

: For the 5th and 6th grades, and for teachers who want their class to experience and learn about science in a fun-filled way that exposes them to various phenomena in the field, all in line with the school curriculum.

 

Time:

By appointment only, during regular business hours and between 9:00-12:00 or 10:00-13:00.

Place:

In the Science Park of the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot.
