Senior manager in the public sector, with over twenty years of experience in managing and leading civil company organizations and the business sector.

Amnon has been serving as the head of finance, human resources and operation of the Davidson Institute of Science Education, the educational arm of the Weizmann Institute of Science, in Rehovot since 2015. His position entails overseeing the institute’s administrative unit, as well as all staff functions and the organizational development of the organization.

His previous positions include: Director of the Kagan Foundation – an association for promoting education and social services for children, youth and the general community in Jerusalem; Manager of corporate responsibility in the ORL Group, during which he led dialogues with interest groups, along with developing organizational ethics and involvement in the community; Deputy Director-General of the Peres Center for Peace; Executive Director of the Israeli branch of the human-rights organization, Amnesty International; and Fundraising Director of the Latet organization.

Amnon has extensive experience in public administration and in leading change in many social fields, in strategic development, fundraising and finance management, management of human resources in non-profit organizations, initiating and managing projects and campaigns, operations, logistics and construction, developing collaborations, instruction, working with the media and more.

Amnon has a Master's degree in sociology from Tel-Aviv University and a Master's of Public Administration from Harvard University, which he attended as a Wexner Foundation fellow. He volunteers in the administrative council of Assaf – the aid organization for refugees and asylum seekers in Israel, and lives with his family in Tel-Aviv.
