Accessibility Statement
The Davidson Institute of Science Education is committed to make its services as accessible as possible to people with disabilities, in order to meet diverse needs and ensure equal and respectful treatment, independence, and safety for the general public.
The Institute operates in accordance with the requirements of the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Law, 5758-1988, and the regulations enacted thereunder.

The Institute operates according to the accessibility guidelines in the Israeli Standard 5568 – “Guidelines for Internet Content Accessibility” to Level AA. This Israeli standard is identical to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0.
Please note that despite our efforts to make all pages accessible on the site, parts of the site may not be accessible. We continue our efforts to improve the site’s accessibility as part of our commitment to enable it to be used for the entire population, including people with disabilities.
Means of Accessibility
- Standrad - In its latest version, the site is supported by most popular browsers.
- Magnifying site display - users who have difficulty seeing the site can zoom in by simultaneously pressing the Ctrl and “+” keys. To zoom out, simultaneously press the Ctrl and “-“ keys.
- Operating the site with a keyboard - users who have difficulty using a mouse can browse the site using the keyboard. Press the Tab key to move between the various links on the page. Pressing Enter will activate the highlighted links.
- Support for assistive technologies - this site is accessible to people with disabilities and supports screen-reading software. To verify the accessibility of the site content, the site has been tested using NVDA software.
