Sukkot at the Garden of Science

Building a stable structure requires strong foundations, the appropriate materials and science – which we will discover together this Sukkot at the Garden of Science

During Hol HaMo'ed Sukkot, we invite the public to participate in our festive activity. The activity will include a tour through the Garden of Science's exhibits, followed by a science arts and crafts workshop. You will have the opportunity to find the true North using a compass-making workshop, understand 'balance' in a fun workshop, and tour the Garden of Science's unique Ecosphere. Visitors are welcome to tour the exhibits of the garden or enjoy an air-conditioned zone for the little ones. 

Tours will be held at: 9:30am (except on Sunday, October 8th), 11am, 12:30pm and 2:00pm.

Each tour will be followed by guided workshops. Total duration of the activity is about 2.5 hours. Tours and entrance to the garden are with advanced registration only.

On Sunday, October 8th at 10:00am, a fascinating lecture will be given to visitors of the Garden of Science on the topic of brain research and structures in nature. The lecture will be given by a researcher from the Weizmann Institute of Science. Book your tickets now, since space is limited. Following the lecture, visitors are welcome to join the activity at the garden.
The lecture is recommended for ages 10 and up.

The Garden of Science Museum of the Davidson Institute of Science Education is located on the campus of the Weizmann Institute of Science. Parking is at the Garden of Science parking lot. For arrival using Waze, search for "Garden of Science ".


40 NIS per visitor (either child or adult)
Discounts: Children under 5 years of age enter free of charge, 50% discount for senior citizens/disabled people, subject to presentation of the appropriate ID at the garden's box office on the day of the activity.
