The National Conference of Scientific Research Projects
Get on stage and present your research projects. Won first place? Congratulations – you are going to Sweden
If you are in 11th or 12th grade and completed your research paper in one of the fields of science, do not give up the momentum now! If you give it another little push and present your work at the national conference of scientific research projects, you may get to fly to the international conference in Sweden, meet students from all around the world, and participate in the Nobel Prize ceremony.
In order to achieve this, you will have to first begin here, in Israel, and present your work in front of judges for 13 minutes. The 12 most prominent and unique projects will go up to the finals. There, you will present your project again, but this time in English and in front of a team of expert judges from the faculty of the Davidson Institute of Science Education and researchers and research students from the Weizmann Institute of Science. If you pass this stage, congratulations! – you will be representing Israel at the Stockholm International Youth Science Seminar.
More about the program
The aim of the scientific conference is to give students the opportunity to present their innovative and unique projects, as well as get to know the projects of their peers. This experience is modeled after the work of researchers presenting their findings to their colleagues at conferences, and it will contribute to the students on many levels.
