Activites will run from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm and the ticket office will close at 3.00 pm.

The Davidson Institute of Science Education, the educational branch of the Weizmann Institute of Science, is holding the traditional annual Science Festival in the campus of the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot. The festival will take place during the hol hamoed period of Succoth (the Jewish festival of Tabernacles) on October 3rd and 4th from 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.
This festival is both a fun and vibrant celebration of science, music, culture and technology, and intellectually stimulating for all age groups.
Workshops, displays, competitions, thought games, scientific shows and musical performances, lectures and demonstrations for children, teenagers and adults who want to understand the world better and to learn about the technologies and discoveries that will shape the future.
Science and the scientific way of thinking will be demonstrated in an experiential and interactive way by involving the participants in a wide variety of activities and each of the various complexes in which the festival takes place will do so in their own particular way. This year there will be a fascinating and extensive presentation that will impart a special emphasis is on up-to-date research and the latest breakthroughs from the Weizmann Institute of Science.
The festival complex will be wheelchair accessible.

DIRECTIONS AND MAP TO THE FESTIVAL:
Signposts will be placed for people arriving from all directions:
By car: From the North: Turn left to the Science Street, cross two traffic lights and after the second turn right and continue according to the signposts to the Science Festival.
From Rehovot: From Herzl Street turn right to the Science Street, cross two traffic lights and after the second turn right and continue according to the signposts to the Science Festival.
From the South: Turn onto Menachem Begin Way, continue straight ahead and turn left according to the signposts to the Science Festival.
There is no charge for parking and is next to the main ticket office.

No pets allowed. No firearms allowed.
By foot: Entrance is via the main entrance of the Weizmann Institute or via Block Gate (opposite the Faculty of Agriculture).
By train: Entrance is via the turnstile opposite the train station, please follow signposts.
